samgyetang(chicken soup with ginseng)

Last friday was one of the hottest in korea

and we usually eat this chicken dish as invigorating food! 😉

< Ingredients >

4 chickens

5 ginsengs

5 garlics

10 jujubes

glutinous rice 2 cups

salt

a little bit green onion

Prepare 4 chickens!! Wash well and drain

Wash ginsengs, jujubes and garlics

Soak glutinous rice 3 hours  and put in a bag

Tie up!

Put some garlics into each chicken

In a big pot, put all chickens, jujubes, garlics, ginsend and bag of rice

Pour water to cover all ingredients

Boil over high heat for 1 hour and low heat for 30 minutes

watermelon salad

This is so perfect in hot summer!! 😀

< Ingredients >

1/4 of half watermelon (cold!!)

one canned fruit (cold!!)

sprite (cold!!)

honey

Cut watermelon in dice

Put them in a big bowl

Here’s canned fruit

Add in the bowl

Pour sprite

Mix well!!

Put some ice if you want cooler one! 🙂

Steamed egg with corn

I bought a bag of corns and put some in steamed egg!!

It was pretty good 😉

< ingredients >

some corns

1/3 carrot

2 eggs

water 100cc

1/2 teaspoon salt

We need steamed corn, carrot and egg

Slice carrot into small piece and  prepate some corn kernels

Put 2 eggs through a sieve~This is for more soft steamed egg!

Pour 100cc water

Add sliced carrot and corns

Put the egg wash in a porcelain bowl

In a pot, pour water to cover 1/3 container

and cover with another plate

Boil over high heat for 15 mintues  and low heat for 5 minutes
