Do you remember tangerine gwapyun I posted last time??
This time we made magnolia vine gwapyun!
< Ingredients >
1/2 cup of dried magnolia vine
4 cups of water
a cup of sugar
salt 1/2 teaspoon
1/2 cup of mung bean starch flour
Rinse dried magnolia vine in cold water
In a bowl, pour 4 cups of water
and soak dried magnolia vine for a day
The water turns red
Mix mung bean starch flour with some water
and stain the water through a sieve
In a pot, pour magolia vine water and starch water.
Add a cup of sugar and salt 1/2 teaspoon.
Boil over medium heat and keep stirring
when it’s thickened,
Pour into a mold
( Make sure mold is wet, it’s easy to take off the gwapyun later)
