Magnolia Vine gwapyun


 Do you remember tangerine gwapyun I posted last time??

This time we made magnolia vine gwapyun!

< Ingredients >

1/2 cup of dried magnolia vine

4 cups of water

a cup of sugar

salt 1/2 teaspoon

1/2 cup of mung bean starch flour

Rinse dried magnolia vine in cold water

In a bowl, pour 4 cups of water

and soak dried magnolia vine for a day

The water turns red

Mix mung bean starch flour with some water

and stain the water through a sieve

In a pot, pour magolia vine water and starch water.

Add a cup of sugar and salt 1/2 teaspoon.

Boil over medium heat and keep stirring

when it’s thickened,

Pour into a mold

( Make sure mold is wet, it’s easy to take off the gwapyun later)
