sesame leaves kimchi

Hello, all!

I’m on summer vacation and finally have a time to upload some recipes 😉

First recipe is sesame leaves kimchi!
< Ingredients >

some sesame leaves

an onion

1/2 carrot

3 chillies

*salty water

6 cups of water

coarse salt 2 tablespoons

*seasoning

a cup of fish sauce

a cup of dried anchovy stock

a cup of red pepper powder

crushed garlic 1 tablespoon

crushed ginger 1/2 teaspoon

a little bit of corn syrup and sesame seeds

 

fresh sesame leaves from farm 🙂

wash under running water and drain

make a bunch with 10 leaves


In a big bowl, make salty water

and leave the bunches of sesame leaves in the water for 30 minutes


After 30 minutes, the leaves are a little bit soft


drain the leaves
slice carrot, onion and chillies


In a bowl, pour fish sauce and dried anchovy stock

mix them well

put all ingredients for seasoning

mix well again


cover sesame leaves with the sauce


put them into a container

after a day, store in refrig


sesame kimchi for neighbors 😉

seasoned shishito pepper

one of my favorite side dishes 🙂

< Ingredients >

shishito pepper 350g

*seasoning

2 tablespoons fish sauce

1 tablespoon red pepper powder

1 teaspoon crushed garlic

some sesame seeds

wash well and remove stem

drain

steam shishito pepper and cool down

put them into a bowl with all ingredients for seasoning

mix well

 

spicy noodles with lettuce

spicy noodle with lettuce!

< Ingredients >

noodle for 2 people

some lettuce

1/2 onion

some cockle

*sauce

6 tablespoons red pepper paste

1 tablespoon crushed garlic

4 tablespoons babana vinegar

6 tablespoons apple juice

some sesame seeds

various lettuces from farm 🙂

wash well

and drain

prepare fresh cockle

boil and drain

slice onion, cockle and lettuce

mix all ingredients for sauce

cook noodle for 2 people, rinse under cold water and drain

put into a bowl and mix with sauce


put all ingredient and a little bit of sauce

mix again

yum!
