Sea Squirt Bibimbap

 

 

I’m not sure people in the world eat sea squirt or not.

Sea squirt has weird appearance but tastes good~so try it! 🙂

< Ingredients >

sea squirt 800g

lettuce 50g

sesame leaf 20g

crown daisy 50g

garlic chive 50g

2 chillies

rice

Sauce – 3 tablespoons red pepper paste

              1 tablespoon vinegar

              1 teaspoon crushed garlic

              2 tablespoons honey

             1 tablespoon sesame oil

             1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Prepare sea squirt and clean it in the running water

Slice sea squirt into bite size pieces

Put 3 tablespoons red pepper paste, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon crushed garlic

and 2 tablespoons honey in a bowl

Mix it well

Prepare vegetables and wash them ( it’s ok to add any vegetable you like)

Cut into small pieces

On a bowl of rice,

Place all sliced vegetables and sea squirt

Add 1 tablespoon sauce, sesame oil and sesame seeds when you mix it 🙂

 

 

Leaf wraps and rice

Weather is getting hotter and summer is just around the corner

I need to go on a diet for this summer..!

So I wanna introduce a dish for diet 😉

< Ingredients >

pumpkin leaf 100g

petasites japonicus 100g

kale 100g

chard 100g

1 tablespoon salt

Soybean paste sauce – 2 tablespoons soybean paste

                          anchovy broth 150cc

                                      1 tablespoon crushed garlic

    4 chillies

Pickled fish sauce – pickled fish 50cc

                                                              1 tablespoon red pepper powder

                   4 chillies

                                                     1 tablespoon crushed garlic

                                                1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Leaves for ‘leaf warps and rice’~wash them first

Remove the tough part of the stems in the pumpkin leaves

Steam for 10 minutes and cool it down

Remove the tough part of the stems in the petasites japonicus

Cover with water and add 1 tablespoon salt. Blanch petasites japonicus in boiling water.

Same for kale

and chard

Drain all boiled vegetables

Ok, let’s make soybean paste sauce!

Bring 2 tablespoons soybean paste, anchovy broth 150cc,

                                    1 tablespoon crushed garlic and 4 chopped chillies in a small pot.

Cook and stir till tickened and bubbly

         Place pickled fish 50cc,  1 tablespoon red pepper powder, 4 chopped chillies, 1 tablespoon crushed garlic

and 1 teaspoon sesame seeds in another pot

Mix them well

Put rice on the leaf

Wrap it

And enjoy with sauces 😀

 

Braised chicken and ripe kimchi

 Braised ripe kimchi matches well with chicken, pork and fish!!

Among them, I chose chicken today 🙂

a chicken

1/4 head of ripe kimchi

1 tablespoon red pepper paste

2 tablespoons red pepper powder

1 tablespoon soybean sauce

1 tablespoon crushed garlic

Boil chicken chops to remove oil for 20 minutes

Wash in the running water and drain

In a pot,

put chicken chops, 1 tablespoon red pepper paste, 2 tablespoons red pepper powder, 1 tablespoon soybean sauce

and 1 tablespoon crushed garlic

Mix well and season the meat

Prepare 1/4 head of ripe kimchi

Put one the top of seasoned chicken chops

Add water almost to the top of chicken

Cover and cook over heat until water boils

Chicken and kimchi together!!!:)
