watery kimchi made of sliced radishes

You might want this cool kimchi in summer 😉

< Ingredients >

1/4 a head of napa cabbage

1/5 radish

4 tablespoons coarse salt

2 tablespoons red pepper powder

a bunch of water parsley

1/2 carrot

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon crused garlic

1 teaspoon crused ginger

You need yellow inner leaves of napa cabbage. Slice them into 3cm pieces.

Same for radish. Slice into 3cm pieces.

Salt sliced radish and cabbage for 30 minutes. (4 tablespoons coarse salt)

After that, wash and drain,

Add in 6 cups of water 1 teaspoon salt, boil and cool it down.

In the water, strain 2 tablespoons through a sieve

So red!! but not spicy at all!!

Slice carrot and water parsley

Put salted radish and cabbage, sliced water parsley and carrot,

1 teaspoon crushed garlic and ginger.

Add salt if it’s not salty enough and some people also add suger.

Store in refrig and you can enjoy cool kimchi! 😉

seasoned Shishito Peppers

 Hello! it’s been a while since I last posted 🙂

You know, we usually eat rice three times a day in south korea and need some side dishes besides kimchi!

Seasoned shishito peppers is easy to cook and doesn’t take long.

One of best side dishes 🙂

shishito pepper 300g

a little of the flour

2 tablespoons red pepper powder

2 tablespoons fish sauce

1 teaspoon crushed garlic

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Remove top part of peppers

Wash them

Mix with a little bit of the flour

Steam for 15 minutes

Seasoning : 2 tablespoons red pepper powder, 2 tablespoons fish sauce,

1 tablespoon sesame seeds and 1 teaspoon crushed garlic

Add seasoning to the steamed peppers

 Mix well

 not too spicy and tastes good 😀

5 potatoes

enoki mushroom 200g

1/5 zucchini

1/3 carrot

3 tablespoons canned corn

5 eggs

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground pepper

3 tablespoons flour

3 tablespoons bread crumbs

oil

ketchup

 Peel and wash pototoes

 Slice into 4 or 5 pieces

 boil for 10 minutes

 Slice all vegetables into small pieces

 mash boiled potatoes

 add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground pepper,

 sliced vegetables, 3 tablespoons canned corn and 2 eggs

 mix well

 shape into balls

 Dip each ball in flour,

 in egg wash,

 and  in bread crumbs

 fry it to a golden brown
